Last time I shared a link to a blog but haven' t shared any info about it. If you happened to visit the blog, hope you were able to read some poems that would inspire you. For those who haven't visited it, please read on my brief preview about it.

It's been months since the last time I've updated Every-witchy Way. But I was able to change my blogger of the day and Top 10 Entrecard droppers. I am really thankful with them because, despite not getting back to visit their site, they still came by to visit here.

I just would like to share why It took me months to update.

I am currently busy with my small business. It was time-consuming studying stitches and patterns. Yes, I'm into creating items which, in my case, need yarn and hooks; I am a crocheter. At first, I planned to concentrate on baby booties then later I found the passion to create hair accessories. But I have to expand my item list so I am also pulling yarns to create dog sweaters and bags. Though I haven't get even with my capital, I still would to pursue this since probably in time, it will grow.

Aside from crochet, I need to allot most of my time to my home-based job. It seems easy but if there is a time I fail to distinguish editing a report to a news or feature article then I receive an email asking me for clarifications why I have to edit a part. Like, I was asked if we have to censor profanities in the report, since when I was still working in a publishing industry I used to replace the vowels to * on foul or offensive words, but with my current job it is not necessary. So I just give it a sigh. I am relatively new with my job and there are lots of things to get familiar with. I just hope before the year ends, I get used to the editing style of the company.

By the way, there are two books I have to read and share it here. I have them last October so hope this month I could share them. They are written by a blogger which I am sure that some of you have visited his site.

I still have updating to do on my Facebook account, Prudence Charlz Connects. I would like to upload all the screenshots of blog and web sites I have featured here. I would find time to finish it.

How many times did I mention the word music here? Well, I am quite under the influenced of SEO writing. In the past few days, I wasn't able to update this blog and visit some others since I have writing jobs to attend to. And they involve SEO writing. Since I need to understand SEO writing well, I focus on my work. Gladly, in just a week, I wrote everything right. As you know, I am not really a good writer, but I want to become a better one. Since after I resigned to my full time work, I decided to venture into a small business. I admit, however, it doesn't go well yet. But before it turned into a year of my freelance work, I was able to gain clients.

For art and design related work, so far, we successful gain confidence and trust from our client. I, together with my namja chingu (nánpéngyou) Khent Rick Tobil, created logo design and banner ad design for a newly established swimwear company operated in the Philippines, a print ad design for swimwear company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and notebook design and product label for paper manufacturing company in the Philippines.

We are not only limited to design itself. Aside from logo and cart design for a scramble business, the dressing of cart is also made by us. We also made story board for a student studying film making in one of the well-known schools in Europe. (Although my participation for this was commenting on the design. But all the hard parts were from my nánpéngyou).

When it comes to Web design and development, I have our business partner to do the thing. I am only the project coordinator, and a Web content administrator. The swimwear company in the Philippines has decided to give this project to me (and I immediately coordinated with my business partner). I am thankful for her trust. The website is still under construction but just for minimal revisions and development.One thing why our clients like us is our quality of work even for a low rate. They also like the way we delivery our projects to them, it is on time sometimes even before the deadline.

We are also accepting caricature, editorial comics. comics strip, business card design, and other art and design related work so long as we can do it for you. We are your one stop shop for all creative, artistic work of art.

By the way, I haven't decided yet for our [small-scale] business name since it is just a home-based and freelance. Hope later this year, we would establish one.

I missed the live telecast of Oscars 2011 last February 27. But, of course, I browsed the net to know who received the prestigious award for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Film, and other categories. I found, however, Anne Hathaway's seven lovely gowns during the night. She was amazing (or gorgeous is better to describe her stunning beauty) with her silver beaded tassel dress (see photo at the left - SOURCE: Popwatch) and wearing a simple wavy hairstyle. That's my choice, you may find her prettier with the other seven quick look change, and I really love the way she carried it.

It’s incredible to know that most of us have unexceptional love for cats, dogs, and other animal creatures. Loving them shows how we give importance to life. Hearing stories about pets or animals is such a wonderful pastime.

Just last week, we’ve got new babies. Taiga and Yukantu have new home. They are so lovely and love sleeping in the drawer (it was their hideout but not anymore since we found them hiding there).

After visiting more than 200 blogs yesterday, I browsed my Every-Witchy Way to see how I improve in promoting other blog and web sites and, at the same time, my writing.

I must say, I am improving.

As I continued reading my entries, I stopped by some of the posts that have comment/s. It is great to know that there are people who take time to read. Whenever there are people who leave their comments or messages, I am glad that I have a chance to communicate with others from different parts of the world.

There was an entry about how thankful and glad that Prudence Charlz mentioned in other web site and I think it is time to search again my name in two major search engines and see if there are more who appreciate Prudence Charlz. And by doing this, I could send my gratitude to them.

Another entry that I took time reading again is What is it Like Being Benjamin Button. I feel like it was not me who wrote it. I could not remember how I was able to put those words. But, of course, I know I am the one who wrote it. After all, I'm the only author here in my blog.

The first three things that will come out in our mind when we hear the words Solar and Eclipse are sun, earth, and moon. But it could also only be two and they are living on earth. Solar and Eclipse are two lovely and adorable Himalayan Persians adopted last month. Following their story from how they are wanting to have a home and finally adopted is truly a wonderful journey with them.

Thus, her blog is not just about Solar and Eclipse, you would also find other pets or animals in Michelle's travel adventures. Witness how she gives life to the animals' world.

As I would drop my Entrecard to Michelle's Menagerie, my attention was caught by Solar and Eclipse. This is where I found out that they are just adopted. They love their new home. While scrolling down and reading more of Michelle's post again last night, another lovely kitten named Teddy melts my heart. Then my boyfriend, who is also a cat lover, clicked the link posts at the end of the entry. We landed on Facebook and find the Pets on Death Row page. We discovered that Teddy was scheduled for euthanasia on October 8, 2010.

Then we followed Teddy's story through comments posted. The time that we finally breathe was when we read that Teddy was pulled and safe now. More pets saved.


There are more stories of these pets who have no home and included in the list of pets to be destroyed. It's not every week or every month but every day there are new pets on the death row. Most of them are cats who are homeless.

Jeffery, Ju Ju, Nicki, Ray, and Katty are wanting for new home, new hope. Their time is limited. Tomorrow could be their last day if no one's going to save them. If you want to save them, visit Pets on Death Row Facebook page. Even your last minute call could save them from euthanasia. They only need a home.

It's just a week to go before Valentine's Day. Of course, each couple is excited for this day to come even though it means spending for gifts, flowers, and chocolates, everything is worth it. The main concern is to make special someone happy and feel more loved. This is also the time to reminisce previous Valentine celebration or also [sometimes] the time to think how you end up together.

But not all have someone beside them to celebrate the day with. Some of these some would probably look back on the days with their loved ones. Prudence Charlz will be 35 months in love before Valentine's 2011 come. And three years and three months is such adorable, lovable, and wonderful. Things get rough sometimes, however being both in love surpasses all the obstacles coming our way. It's like you want out but you cannot make a single step away.

We believe that so long as we are in love, there is no reason for us to leave or end our relationship. It is true and it makes us fall in love the first time every day. It's a great feeling.

I would like to tell the world how in love I am with him and how kind, loyal and faithful, and loving he is. It's my first time to do this and I don't know if this is all right. Hahaha!

But nevertheless, thank you for reading my love story. :)

I once had a cat named Minnie. A very cute, pretty, ordinary cat that always woke me up at five in the morning so I could prepare for school. That was 13 years ago.

She was white with black and orange stripes in her tail and head. Minnie never slept on the floor, but always at the top of our cabinet or in the sofa if it was morning or afternoon. But she slept besides me at night complete with blanket and pillow. I remember when I bathed her, she always wanted to escape but after the chasing, she loved her smell and smooth, fine fur.

I missed her so much.

I wasn't here yesterday. Kailangan kong pumunta sa DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) para magpa-renew ng passport. Pero hindi ako natapos. Umuwi na lang ako dahil kailangan ko ulit maghintay ng mahigit pa sa isang oras sa data capturing pagkatapos ng mahabang pila sa document evaluation.

Akala ko nu'ng una, mas mabilis at convenient sa mga mamamayan ang appointment system pero sa tinatakbo kahapon mukhang hindi. O malas lang talaga ako dahil maraming tao? May pagkakataon ba na hindi marami ang tao? Almost 5 years ago nu'ng kumuha ako ng passport, hindi ako inabot ng isang oras. Maaga ako pumunta para maaga matapos. Dati first come, first serve pa, kung matiyaga kang pumunta ng maaga, maaga kang matatapos. Kung late ka naman na dumating, kasalanan mo kasi hindi ka maagang pumunta. Ngayon kahit maaga kang pumunta, kailangan mong mag-antay para sa schedule mo. Pero hindi ibig sabihin nu'n ganung oras ka maaasikaso kasi tatapusin pa 'yung mga naunang schedule sa'yo. Sa per 30-minute interval ng schedule, iisipin ko na parang 30 minutes or less lang matatapos na ako at 30 minutes lang tapos na ang mga naunang schedule sa akin. Pero hindi pala ganun.

Mas maganda siguro kung numbering system (kung ito man ang tawag dun) na lang on a first come, first serve basis, tulad kapag nagbabayad ka ng bills ng telepono or minsan sa bangko kung maraming tao at saan pang kailangan mo munang kumuhang number para sa transaction. Kung gusto nilang limitahan ang pupunta sa bawat araw, siguro mas mainam kung appointment system per day na lang na hindi mo na kailangang mamili ng oras; nasa sa iyo na lang kung gusto mo pumunta ng 8 ng umaga, 10 ng umaga or mga oras sa hapon. Siguro mas konti ang magrereklamo at maaabala.

Mahirap matukoy kahapon kung bakit naging mabagal ang transaction sa bawat isang tao kung may sistema namang sinusunod. Saka kung dahilan ang dami ng tao, hindi ba inaasahan na nila ito dahil isang buwan or higit bago isara ang araw para sa appointment kaya maaring matukoy na nila ang bilang ng pupunta para sa new applications at renewal pati na rin ang rush at regular processing time. Kaya dapat may solusyon na sila dun dahil na rin sa sistema. Hindi ko tuloy maiwasang ikumpara ang pagkuha ng NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) clearance. Makikita mo ang dami ring tao pero hindi ka aabutin ng higit pa sa dalawang oras at matagal na ang isang oras para sa renewal. Siguro mas maganda ang sistema sa NBI?

Saka sana hiwalay ang new application sa renewal para mas mapabilis. Kahapon (hindi ko alam kung meron talaga during business days) may sariling pila pala ang renewal sa document evaluation kahit isa lang, ganun din pala hinihiwalay pero iisa lang ang pila n new at renewal.

Pagkatapos ko sa document evaluation, akala ko mabilis na. Pag-akyat ko sa ikalawang palapag (second floor), nakikita ko maraming tao ang nakaupo. Step 2: Magbayad, kaya naman pagkatapos ko magbayad (gladly halos wala namang pila) sa step 3 na ako pero kailangan kong kumuha ng number. Nagtaka ako. Nakuha ko number 2048. Pagkakita ko sa LCD monitor ang huling number na kasalukuyang inaasikaso is 1686. Napa-what talaga ako. Nalaman ko pa na may mangilan (o siguro patapos pa lang ang batch nila, hindi ko alam dahil hindi ko naman nakausap lahat ng nandun) mga 8:30 a.m. pa na schedule ang nandun. Marami namang tables and computers para sa data capturing pero hindi naman lahat nagagamit sa parehong oras lalo na kapag break time. Hindi ko din alam kung gaano kabilis ang computers na ginagamit para sa scan, encoding, at sa pag-capture ng image.

Siguro kaysa nababakante ang tables and computers mas mainam kung may gumagamit nito, mas tama siguro kung nama-maximize ang paggamit dahil kung hindi naman pala magagamit ang lahat sana inilaan na lang ang pera sa ibang pangangailangan. Kaysa maraming computers mas maganda kung bawasan ang bilang ng dami ng computers na hindi nagagamit at kumuha ng manpower na makakagamit ng sapat sa bilang ng computers. Kaya kung breaktime na ng isang empleyado (dahil kailangan naman nilang magpahinga at kumain dahil tao lang din naman sila), maganda kung may papalit sa kanya para hindi naaantala ang transaction at maiiwasan ang pag-ipon ng mga taong dapat bigyan ng serbisyo.

Kung hiwalay kaya ang renewal sa new application, makakatulong ba sa pagbilis ng gawain sa step 3 na data capturing?

Heto pa pala, kung gusto mo ipa-deliver na lang ang passport kaysa bumalik para kunin ito, kailangan mo ulit pumila para dito. Medyo mag-aantay ka ulit kung minalas-malas ka na madaming nakapila pagkatapos mo sa data capturing.

Napakadaming pila at napadaming pupuntahang window bago ka matapos. Nababalewala talaga ang pila kahit nauna ka pa, pero swerte kung huli ka na sa pila o late ka na dumating nauna ka pa sa mga maaga. Halimbawa, sa ground floor ipapasa ang documents para sa evaluation at interview then kaysa ibalik sa'yo ang documents at bigyan ka ng resibo para sa pagbabayad ang ibibigay na lang is number at delivery form kung gusto mo na ipadala na lang ang passport. Then aakyat ka sa second floor at dun mo aantayin na tawagin ang number mo at habang nag-aantay nagfi-fill in ka ng delivery form. (Ang mga empleyado naman ipinapasok na ang data mo na hindi mo na kailangan maghintay pa sa harapan nila kung kailan sila matatapos ang encoding bago ka kunan ng picture.) Kapag tinawag na ang number mo, ibig sabihin tapos na encode ang information, magbabayad ka at bibigyan ng resibo (then saka sasabihin sa data management department [ba 'yun] na bayad na ito at pwede na sa image capturing) habang hawak mo pa din ang number mo. At pagkatapos tatawagin ulit ang number mo kung ready na para sa image capturing or pwede namang derecho na lang. Kung ganitong set-up mas madali kaya at mas makaka-save ng time pareho ang applicant at empleyado? Sa ganitong proceso mas malalaman kaya ang bilang ng empleyado at computers na kailangan para sa mabilis na transaction?

Pwede naman siguro gawin pa din ang kasalukuyang sistema, pero sana kung saan naiipon ang mga tao pagtuunan ito ng pansin para malaman ang kung ano ang nagiging sanhi ng pagbagal bukod sa sabihin na nating hindi tamang requirements ng iba. Parang daloy ng trapiko, kung maraming sasakyan bumabagal lalo na kung may aksidente or may mga sasakyang mabagal ang takbo o hindi muna siniguro ng may-ari ng sasakyan na nasa ayos ang sasakyan bago umalis at umarangkada sa kalsada. Sa trapiko, kapag mabagal ang daloy madaming naaabala kahit ang iba na sumusunod sa batas trapiko or sinigurong maayos ang sasakyan bago paandarin sa kalsada. Pero kung maayos ang kalsada, may magandang batas trapiko at sinusunod ng lahat, nagiging maganda ang daloy ng trapiko.

Sa mga aplikante naman, isipin naman na marami ang gusto ring makakuha at matapos ng maaga at hindi lang ikaw ang aplikante na aasikasuhin kaya siguraduhing bago pumunta o makarating sa document evaluation window, kumpleto ang mga kailangan. Huwag nang isipin na baka mapagbigyan, para hindi naman unfair sa ibang aplikante na sinikap na kumpletuhin ang requirements at nang hindi maabala at makaabala. Siguro kung hindi mo ugaling magmalasakit sa kapwa dahil hindi mo naman sila kilala o magbigay naman ng konsiderasyon, hindi kaya sakit ka din ng lipunan?

Alam naman siguro ng nakararami, hindi lang ako, na maraming taong kumukuha at nagpapa-renew ng passport kung ihahambing sa bilang ng empleyado sa DFA, pero parang guro lang din 'yan sa isang klase na nakakayang humawak ng mga mag-aaral para makinig at mapanatiling nakaupo sa loob ng takdang oras at matapos ang lecture na nakatakda sa ibinigay na oras ng pagtuturo dahil ito ang sistema at kailangang sundin ang oras para sa paglilinang ng kaisipan ng mga mag-aaral. Dahil ang oras mahalaga sa bawa't isa. Kung sa pagkuha ng passport aabutin ka na ng tatlong oras o higit pa sa estimated time na matapos ang bawa't isang transaction, paano naman ang iba? Parang ang bagal naman ng pag-usad at malaking abala na imbis na may maari ka pang gawin na mas mahalaga, ang tanging gagawin mo lamang sa loob ng gusali ng DFA maupo at maghintay hanggang matapos ka.

Pero in fairness, malinis at malamig sa loob ng gusali.

He even printed his copy of the lyrics so he could sing it well. Brilliant! One thing, he printed two copies for him and to his classmate.
