Many fans were surprised to see Lincoln wearing clean-shaved face during the shooting of the half of Season 5 and were wondering if he was just wearing fake beard in “The Walking Dead” “Surviving Together” trailer.

In the “Surviving Together” trailer of AMC’s highest-rated zombie-apocalypse TV program, Carl and Judith Grimes, Noah, and Father Gabriel were not part of the promotional video. Many also thought if these four characters would no longer part of the next season.
They also thought if any of the scenes in the trailer would be shown in the remaining episodes of TWD Season 5.

In a Reddit thread, one of the employees who shot and edited the promo video answered the questions of many fans, particularly if Andrew Lincoln was wearing real or fake beard.
The employee claimed that the promo video was just created after the Season 5 had just finished taping. This means that the scenes were made for the trailer only.

Comic Book published that Father Gabriel and Noah were not part of the trailer because most often only the main cast are included in the video. The two characters, as we all know, have just joined the show.

To shorten the filming schedule of the Chandler Riggs and the baby who played as Judith, we see their characters out of the video.

As many suspected on Andrew Lincoln’s beard in “The Walking Dead” new Season 5 trailer, the employee confirmed, “It’s a fake beard.”

Meanwhile, Norman Reedus seems having fun with his vacation from the show when he joined singing in Sleater-Kinney’s music video of “No Cities To Love”.

Others celebrities, including Ellen Page, also joined the music video.
