It was a nerve-racking Sunday for the whole world (well, at least for most of the countries worldwide if not all, :)) Two of the favorite boxing figures finally had faced-off at the MGM Grand stadium with a stunning win for the Filipino boxer Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao over Oscar "The Golden Boy" Dela Hoya in a welterweight division in KO Round 8 yesterday at Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pacquiao dominated the bout since Round 3 to Round 8 when Dela Hoya finally threw white flag as signal of his surrender to the fight
Both boxers claimed that they had a great fight and their both great fighters. "I'm so lucky tonight," said Pacquiao.
Dela Hoya said that Pacman deserved the win.
The new welterweight boxing champion is eyeing for Ricky Hatton as his next contender.
