Various short stories are published around the world. Even those who are written long time ago, which nowadays inspired many writers and readers as well, are still available in print and, now with the advancement of technology, as eBook.
Some famous short stories that gain popularity years ago are works of Charles Dickens, Edgar Allen Poe, Hans Christian Andersen, The Brothers Grimm, Thomas Hardy, Mark Twain, and William Shakespeare.
How many of us didn't know the story of Hansel and Gretel or the Christmas Carol, Frog Prince, Thumbelina, and Antony and Cleopatra? Most of us have heard, read, and even seen the film adaptation in theater or cinemas.
