Big Step toward Progress in Palayan City in Nueva Ecija

5:33 PM

Palayan City Business Hub | Nueva Ecija

It was Friday afternoon of July 6 when the big change started. We were excited to see our Palayan City local government and the Malaysian conglomerate AlloyMTD Group executives set their foot at the office of Philippine Economic Zone Authority in Taguig.
We know that moment was our time to shine as PEZA Director General Charito Plaza handed to Palayan City Mayor Rianne Cuevas and AlloyMTD Philippines President Nicholas David the Certificate of Registration to formalize Palayan City Government Center and Central Business Hub as an IT Park in a special economic zone.
Sen. Richard Gordon and AlloyMTD Group Chairman Isaac David also witnessed the signing of the Registration Agreement.
The PCBH is the first PEZA-Accredited IT Park in Nueva Ecija. This is made possible with the recommendation of PEZA board directors to create the IT Park pursuant to Republic Act No. 7916, also known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1996 as amended by RA No. 8748.
We were more grateful when President Rodrigo Duterte issued Proclamation No. 526 creating and designating our 3-hectare land as an IT Park last June 25. As soon as we received the news, we said to ourselves, “This is it!”
It was a little over 4 years when we started constructing PCBH with dreams in our mind. Since 2014, we believe that we can transform Palayan City into a vibrant city. A city where Novo Ecijanos, particularly Palayanos, can enjoy living and working in just a few kilometers away from their home.
We want our locals and those from nearby provinces to easily process their documents in over 10 national government agencies, such as Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Social Security System, and National Bureau of Investigation among others, at the Government Center Building.
To date we have two Business Process Outsourcing and Call Center companies - Sutherland Global Services and ReSourcing Global - that continuously creating new career opportunities in Nueva Ecija.
We also have an educational institution that offers TESDA-accredited courses with a minimum qualification of NC II and a short-term Nihongo (Japaneses language) class.
Not only that, this coming September 2018, we will open our Hotel to receive visitors in our 75 fully furnished rooms. It has commercial spaces, as well as mini mall.
With this remarkable big step toward progress, we would like to thank everyone who help us spread this big news.
